A couple have been revealed to have appealed to a Customary court in Lagos State, for the dissolution of their marriage over boredom.

The couple reportedly appealed to a Customary court in Ejigbo on Wednesday, January 20, asking the court to dissolve their marriage of 5 years simply because they were tired of the union.
Their reasons also revolved around the fact that they had frequent disputes and had lost feelings for each other.
The divorce suit had been instituted by the husband, Godwin Nwosu, 32, against his wife, Adaeze, 31, residing at 20, Oluwale street, Ejigbo.
Mr Nwosu reportedly filed the suit on grounds of lack of care, irreconcilable differences, incompatibility, lack of love, in a bid to convince court to dissolve the marriage.
Adaeze shockingly agreed to her husband's claims, pleading with the court for the dissolution of the marriage.
The marriage that last for 5 years had not produced a child, which had added further strain to the marriage, adding that they had tried to make it work to no avail.
The couple are reported to have rejected further counselling as an option, revealing that friends and family members had done their best to reconcile them, to no avail.
Adaeze went on to confess to the court that she had suggested divorce to Nwosu because they had become strangers sharing a bed.

Mrs Banjoko Salewa, the president of the court, had advised the couple to do their best to maintain peace, while the matter was adjourned to January 27.
