AY Makun's wife shares a picture of two of them together to cool down stories of their marriage breaking up.

Mabel Makun, wife of popular Nigerian comedian AY Makun today (February 26) shared a photo of her with her husband.
She captioned the picture #mancrushforlife. It seems all is well with AY and Mabel. The celebrity couple made headlines this week after it was reported that Mabel had ran out of her matrimonial home and put the house under lock and key. Mabel posted the photo on her newly restored Instagram account.

On February 23 it was first reported that Mabel had left her matrimonial home amid breakup rumours. No reason was given why Mabel left her home but Stella Dimokokorkus hinted that the “details are too dirty to be posted.” Mabel also went ahead to delete her Instagram account.

Later in the day AY responded to the rumours. "Some blogs are, for the most part, the bringers of bad news... and it's not entirely the bloggers fault, bad news gets higher ratings, travels faster and sells more than good news" wrote the 37-year-old comedian on Instagram.
"The reality is that you will continue to hear negative information from many sources against anything that showcases your blessings and pride.
"Gossip is just a tool to distract people who have nothing better to do from feeling jealous of those few who are still remaining in the institution called 'Celebrity Marriage' . It lies in our will to decide whether to discard them into the waste bin or record them into our brains!. The question is... whose report will you believe? #Hisreportsaysiamfree #Hisreportsaysvictory #Hisreportsaysweareblessed #wecastandbind #prayfortheonesyoulove" he further wrote.

AY and Mabel got married in Lagos on November 29, 2008 in an elaborate gig that had several personalities and top celebrities in attendance.
AY and Mabel have a daughter Michelle.
