Man stabs his mother to death for rejecting pregnant fiancée
The deceased identified as Tawa Oniyide rejected her sons eight month pregnant fiancée on the grounds that he should have introduced her earlier during the early stage of the pregnancy.

30-year-old Ibrahim Oniyide who resides at 3, Olubunmi Christopher Street, off Arowolo Street, Abule Egba got furious over his mother’s rejection of his fiancée and he decided to keep her out his choice of life partner by stabbing her to death.
Ibrahim Oniyide killed his mother by stabbing her with a kitchen knife and slashed her body with broken bottle.
According to reports the deceased identified as Tawa Oniyide rejected her son's eight month pregnant fiancée on the grounds that he should have introduced her earlier during the early stage of the pregnancy.
Ibrahim got furious over his mother’s refusal to accept his future partner, he reportedly storm into the kitchen and grabbed the knife his mother was using to peel yam and stabbed her in different parts until he confirmed she was dead.
Ibrahim was arrested by the police after the incident and was charged before an Ebutte Magistrates’ Court for murder
Ibrahim is presently cooling off in Ikoyi Prisons his case was adjourned till April 11.
