Police arrest pipeline vandals in Akwa Ibom State
Items found with the suspect house include a battery for igniting explosion, a bottle wrapped with red clothes, native eggs and feathers suspected to be charm.

Three suspected pipeline vandals in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom, have been arrested by the police for allegedly destroying oil pipelines.
Victor William and Nseobong Dickson, the suspects under question, reportedly denied the accusation, stating their innocence concerning the matter.
However, Murtala Mani, the State Commissioner of Police, disclosed that the suspects were found with improvised explosive devices capable of destroying high pressure oil pipelines.
The Daily Post mentioned that the suspects were arrested in a hotel in Ikot Udoma village in Eket council area.
According to Mani, who spoke through the police public relation officer, the IEDs comprised two high power pipe bombs measured at 60/8.5cm and 44/5.5 cm, respectively.
Other items recovered from the suspects included a battery for igniting explosion, a bottle wrapped with red clothes, native eggs and feathers suspected to be charm.
